The US cable news company CNN has selected Halong Bay as one of the five most beautiful island paradises in Asia.
CNN said the mysterious limestone caves in Halong Bay and the area’s incredible sunsets are two sights not to be missed. CNN described Halong Bay as one of the most stunning boating destinations in the world. The other island paradises chosen were Similan Islands and Koh Chang in Thailand, the Anambas islands in Indonesia, and Langkawi in Malaysia. The result was based on surveys of Asian travel experts and journalists.
